After the loss of 21 trees and other damage due to Hurricane Florence, Harbor Island Garden Club members, with tremendous support from the Town, undertook the challenge of revitalizing Harbor Way Gardens on the John Nesbitt Loop. The goal was to be ready for a first time participation in the 66th Annual Azalea Garden Tour being held April 5 - 7 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

During the weekend there will be an opportunity to see:

  • Floral arrangements created by Harbor Island Garden Club members
  • The newly created Labyrinth
  • New water feature
  • Addition of a live oak tree donated by Hanover Center
  • Andy Cobb's wonderful frog sculptures
  • Azalea Belles

And on Sunday from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m., fifteen regional fine artists will display their plein air works painted at various locations in Harbor Way Gardens and is open to the public.
